Last updated: October 29, 2026. This policy explains how NorthNest Goods handles personal information when you browse our store, place an order or contact us. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
Information you provide
We collect the information needed to process an order, including your name, email, phone number where supplied, billing and delivery addresses, order contents and messages to customer support. For personalized products, we also collect the text or photographs you choose to submit for that order.
Checkout and payments
Our checkout uses the payment service configured for this store. That service may collect payment credentials, billing details and security information needed to process or assess a transaction. NorthNest Goods receives transaction references, payment status and order-related information. The payment service and its payment screen should identify the processor and the information it handles. Please do not send full card numbers or security codes by email.
Technical information and necessary storage
The website and its hosting services may process IP addresses, browser and device information, access logs and security-related data. Necessary cookies and similar storage support the shopping bag, checkout, account login, security and your privacy preferences. The local preview shopping bag is stored in your browser rather than submitted as an order.
Optional analytics and advertising
Optional analytics and marketing tracking are off until you allow them using the privacy controls. If allowed, the configured Meta Pixel can receive page and shopping events, such as product views, adding to the bag, starting checkout and a purchase event. Google Analytics or Google Ads events apply only if those services are configured. These services may process browser, device, network and event information under their own policies. Optional tracking is not required to place an order.
How information is used
We use order and contact information to process payments, dispatch goods from our Toronto warehouse, provide support, handle returns, prevent misuse and maintain transaction records. Optional measurement helps us understand store use and advertising performance when you allow it. We do not subscribe you to promotional email solely because you place an order.
Service providers and disclosures
Information necessary for their tasks may be shared with hosting and technical providers, the configured payment service, delivery providers, customer-support services and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to address fraud and security issues. Optional tracking providers receive data only under the choice described above. We do not offer customer contact lists for sale.
Processing outside Canada
Some service providers may process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws and lawful access procedures of those locations. Contact us if you would like information about the providers used for your order.
Retention and safeguards
We retain order and service records for as long as reasonably needed for fulfilment, returns, accounting, fraud prevention and applicable record-keeping requirements. Personalized-order files should be retained only as needed to produce and support that order. Access should be limited to the people and services that need it. No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
Use Cookie settings at the bottom of the site to allow or refuse optional tracking, or change your choice later. Refusing optional tracking does not disable necessary shopping features. Browser controls can remove existing cookies; optional-provider cookies already set may need to be removed through those controls. You can contact [email protected] to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information. We may need to verify your identity and explain any information we must retain for a transaction or legal reason.
Children and updates
The store is intended for purchases made by adults. If you believe a child has supplied personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us. We will update this page when our practices change and identify the latest revision above.
